Privacy Policy
Auto Calendar (by DHAR LLC) helps you create, update, and manage Google Calendar events. This policy explains how we handle personal data, including Google user data.
Auto Calendar is currently in beta and available for free. During this period, we may update features and functionality as we refine the experience.
Data we collect (including Google user data)
- Name and email from Google sign-in, plus OAuth tokens stored by our auth provider.
- Google Calendar data you authorize us to access, such as calendar lists and event details we create, read, update, delete, or search (title, time, description, location, attendees, reminders).
- Content you provide (text prompts, images, timezone, saved preferences).
How we use your data
- Create, update, delete, list, or search events you request.
- Draft events from text or images and answer calendar questions.
- Provide support, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable.
We only use Google user data to provide or improve user-facing features.
How we share your data
We share Google user data only with service providers that help us run the app, such as Google APIs, Clerk (authentication), OpenAI (to interpret text/images and calendar context), and hosting/infrastructure vendors. We do not sell Google user data or share it for advertising, data brokers, credit decisions, or AI model training. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data protection, retention, and deletion
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest and access is restricted. We retain account data and any saved preferences while your account is active. We do not store your calendar contents outside Google beyond transient processing to fulfill your requests. Images are processed to extract event details and are not stored after processing. You can request deletion at any time by emailing sachin@dharllc.com; we delete or anonymize within a reasonable period, and backups may persist for a limited time.
Your choices
You can revoke Google access at any time in your Google Account settings and request account deletion by email.
Changes
If we materially change how we use Google user data, we'll update this page and notify you via email or in-app notice.
